The basics:

Invites go out at the time stated on the calender. You are locked our from signing up an hour prior to this time.

You are expected to be ready to accept the invite instantly. wanting to complete a heroic, couple of daily quests etc isn't good enough and if possible you will just be replaced so that other people's time does not get wasted.

We expect to make the first pull no later than 15 minutes after the invite time. So as soon as you have received an invite make your way to the instance. - do not expect a summon.

Be prepared. Bring enough reagents potions and flasks. Flasks and potions can be purchased off the guild bank but currently this is slowing our raids down. I will be looking into a new method for the distribution of these items.

Listen to the raid leader. Only go AFK when he/she calls for a break. Popping to the tiolet during a trash pull is acceptable. But let the raid leader know. Wait for their response as is may be that a couple of people have already gone so your help is needed. There will be times when you really need to do something. Just make sure you ask the raid leader. This way they are aware that you need to go in a moment and can make arrangements so you can take a minute. - Being AFK for 5minutes or more really isn't acceptable. If you are raiding the raid should get your priority.

Make sure you can raid for the full raid. If not make a comment on your signup. Priority will then be given to other raiders. Leaving early is rarely acceptable - just like signing up and not showing.

Do not pug ICC10 unless there is absolutely no chance that you will be in there with the guild on a certain character in a certain week. If you are called upon for one boss and we aren't sure we will down it, well I'm sorry but you are coming. If you don't wish to, ask yourself why. Is is because you need the gear? need the emblems? If that was true, chances are you would have been in on an earlier run. Gold making and upping your gearscore is not your priority, the guild is however. Chances of pugging an alt is more likely but ask a GM/officer.

You must have:

[*]Deadly boss mods or an equivalent encounter addon.
[*]Omen or equivalent threat indicator.
[*]Ventrilo access. A microphone is recommended but being able to hear us is of most importance.

Perform to the best you can:

There is one major thing that can help raids be sucessful. This is known as raider accountability.

Basically, don't screw up. Now of course mistakes happen but there are ways of trying to limit the amount of mistakes that you make. Please read this post for more information. The more people that question their performance the better we become as a guild and the more we grow. If you really want to progress and want to be a growing guild in cataclysm then I'm afraid people are going to have to put in a little work.

It is also recommended that you ignore recount and gearscore.

The fact is too many people are obsessed with gear upgrades because it boosts the score other people see. It is much more beneficial for the guild to have a group of people with slightly lower gearscores but that have stats important to their specs, are concentrating on the fight they are in, not on topping dps meters and accept that aslong as they are doing their job well their DPS will not generally be an issue. Unless spoken to by an officer or GM do not worry too much about your DPS output, just try to maximise the amount of damage you do to correcct targets and minimising the amount of damage you receive.
